I watched some of the footage from the Rotted Mango's birthday parade. There seemed to be a something going on with the soldiers, from simply not giving a shit to malicious compliance. The marching was more of organized strolling. The formations weren't marching in step and appeared to make no effort to do so. The Ft. Bragg campaign rally had soldiers creeened for political reliability. The parade had soldiers that appeared to not only not give a shit, but were resentful at having to spend an entire Saturday performing for a draft dodger who regards them as chumps.
And what the hell was up with them playing "Fortunate Son" while the soldiers marched past? It's an antiwar and antidraft song. It mocks people like the Hair Furor.
Meanwhile, the Minnesota assassin was indeed a Trumpanzee.
And Trump is still a terrible person.

I thought that was incredibly sloppy formation. The soldiers in the fighting vehicles waving and smiling, they should have been throwing candy.

Having a C-47 drop candy over the "perade" would have been cool.
Dilligaff is indeed the case and it shows. I've seen solders drill
and if sarge says look sharp, they do. So the OOD was just get
there. Prepare for forced march.
For the rethug, I kill the in the name of religion is his excuse.
And according to the 12 commandments he should die for doing
that. More people have died in the name of some and varied gods
over the centuries.
The candy idea would have certainly brightened the day.

‘Setting sun’: on Trump’s parade day, Chinese media see a US in decline,,,
“The parade reflects [Trump’s] urgency to proclaim that ‘America is great again’ … Yet, no matter how it’s staged, it only reinforces the sense that the halo of the United States is fading, and its deep-rooted institutional problems remain unresolved,” state-run Beijing Daily said in a commentary.

There was no synchronized marching which could be that this was their way of protesting. Soldiers are taught from day one to march in formation. I know. My dad was a Drill Sgt. Personally I believe he would have been very proud of those men for having the guts to "walk" like they did as if they were walking in a park to a picnic. Especially in front of a draft dodger that fell asleep during his birthday parade. The sad thing is that the Armed Forces will not see a single penny of the $45mil that they will be paying out for this fiasco. It will all go from our bank accounts into TЯ☭mp's pocket.
I double took to see the Sherman tank, all gussied up and sharp, clanking along.....I'm sure the armor guys were snickering. Hell, why stop there? Fort Knox (home of Armor) near my childhood home of Louisville, KY has a wonderful tank museum which includes a WWI monster parallelogram shaped tank. I think it still runs. Years ago I saw it opened up with a mechanic working on it. It's that tall because of its monster long stroke engine with a separate water jacket for each cylinder. Like this:

I thought they looked more like they were walking to a forced proctology exam.
