Orange Felon Can't Tell Me What to Do

Words of Advice:

DONALD TRUMP IS A CONVICTED FELON. CASE CLOSED.

"America, where we restrict access to vaccines and healthcare, but you can have all the guns you want." -- Stonekettle

"If Something Seems To Be Too Good To Be True, It's Best To Shoot It, Just In Case." -- Fiona Glenanne

“Speed is a poor substitute for accuracy.” -- Real, no-shit, fortune from a fortune cookie

"Thou Shalt Get Sidetracked by Bullshit, Every Goddamned Time." -- The Ghoul

"If you believe that you are talking to G-d, you can justify anything.” — my Dad

If something sounds good in your head, don't have it come out of your mouth.

"Colt .45s; putting bad guys in the ground since 1873." -- Unknown

"The Dildo of Karma rarely comes lubed." -- Unknown

"Eck!" -- George the Cat

Karma may sometimes be late to arrive.
But it never loses an address.

We Have Been Poisoning the World

Birds with some much plastic in their stomachs that they crunch to the touch.

Toxic algal blooms on a scale previously unknown.

Increases of microplastics in human brains. (But no, Brainworm Bobby is more worried about vaccines.)

I don't know what the tipping point is from our fouling the planetary ecosystem. But if one comes, the effects may hit at a speed and scale to which we can't adapt.

And nobody can honestly say that we didn't have it coming.

In the ongoing argument 'ore the mark of the start of the Anthropocene I would argue the introduction of micro-plastics into the food-chain and blood-streams down to the very molecular level is the beginning of the era of human. Can't see it from space, but we have altered the chemistry of the planet

Let that sink in ... we have irreparably altered the planet

Not only fleas, planet lice, agitating the hide of a far greater organism but there's eight soon to be ten billion of us on a ball of mud that can barely sustain one. Do the math

We should be honored to witness history thus ...

The declining human birth rates worldwide are a symptom and cure for the ravage on the ecosystem that is humanity. Gaia is going to cure it's illness eventually but it won't be fun to watch. I used to think we could turn it around; now I see the change globally accelerating. We may have just solved the Fermi "paradox". If a civilization poisons it's nest before achieving interstellar capability, it's done.

You would think and remember Silent Spring. Not so far off after over 50 years.
